Start Up bubble and Celebrity endorsement

I found this article here fun and very interesting. It is written by a VC in LA. Clearly a lifestyle that many young start up founders dream of.

Start-up is an industry now in itself, articles like this, where celebrity endorsements are being discussed, indicate that the app boom is actually a great big bubble. It is already resembling the dot.com boom of the late 1990’s. I can’t see this boom lasting past another 3 years.

But that it is not a concern if you are a savvy and opportunistic Entrepreneur.

When the bubble bursts there will be a lot of developers available for work, and they should be cheap.

That is the time that the truly creative can afford to strike and come up with something big.

Facebook, google, zynga, and others all rose to glory after the steam of the dot.com bubble had quietly settled on the ground.

Sometimes coming late to the market is actually an advantage, because you get the benefit of having watched the pioneers make their mistakes, from which you can learn.
